Took a trip to a local lake here in Mississippi last weekend, hoping to pull in some bass. The water temp was around 62°F, which felt a bit chilly for this time of year. Went out with my buddy and we were using some wacky rigs and a few crankbaits, but to be honest, the fish seemed pretty lazy. We managed to get a couple of bites, but nothing stuck. I lost one just as I was about to land it — typical! Ended up with just one decent bass, but hey, it was nice to be out on the water soaking up some sun. How are things biting in your area?
