I haven't seen one yet but read lots of reviews and watched a bunch of video reviews. I think I would go with a Glock if I had to have one today. I prefer to give Ruger a few years to work the bugs and kinks out.
I don't want to step on anyone's toes, but EVERY new gun is worth checking out. Even those with bad reviews, I might not buy one but I do want to be well informed about it. You never know when a "too good to pass up" deal will come along.
For example: I was shooting doves one time and saw a Remington 1100 flying through the air. Thinking the worse I ran over to see what was going on. I was met by a very upset shooter raising cane about a single shot 1100. I picked up the shotgun and when I got back he said to keep it. He was that angry. I walked to the edge of the field and stripped the shotgun down. I saw the gas rings were in the wrong order and the piston was upside down. I put things right, loaded it and fired three rounds as fast I I could. He offered to buy the gun from me. Instead I gifted the gun to his young, 12-14 year old, daughter that had seen the entire tantrum.
