Are duty pistols better?

When you check out the latest announcements, do you notice any genuine advancements in service pistols, or is it just a bunch of marketing hype trying to make things look fresh?

Honestly, I think optics-ready slides and improved coatings are legit improvements for pistols. Other than that, service pistols? They're pretty much as good as they're gonna get. The big changes already happened, now we're just seeing little tweaks, nothing huge

I think overall they’re getting better, especially in reliability and how ready they are for optics. The year-to-year gains aren’t massive but over time the improvements add up.

Some real upgrades like optics, ergonomics, modularity but yeah, a lot of “new model, same gun” energy too.
