I have used an annular cutter kit to thread a few .22 lr barrels for suppressor attachment. So far I have had great luck. I always do a lot of cleaning rod drops through the barrel and suppressor before trying live rounds.

Does anyone else do any "Home Gunsmithing"?

I’ve had some great results doing my own Cerakote jobs and hand-lapping barrels. With the right tools and a little patience, you can end up with results that look like they came straight from a pro.

I've played around with a few projects here and there. Most of my time has been spent on trigger jobs, installing sights, and doing some basic refinishing work. I’ve even tackled a couple of barrel threading jobs, though I really feel at home when I've got a lathe to work with. There’s just something really rewarding about customizing your own gear and knowing you’ve crafted every part with your own hands. It gives you this connection to your work that’s hard to beat.
