Has anyone here tried any New Republic ammo? New Republic is a subsidiary of Beretta. They have ammo manufacturing facilities in Georgia, South Carolina, Arizona and in Varpalota, Hungary. It is my understanding that the Hungarian plant manufactures ammo specially for European NATO forces.

The US plants manufacture .22 LR, 380 ACP, 9 mm, 38 Special, 357 Magnum, 40 S&W, 10 mm and 45 ACP. Prices seem to run parallel to Winchester white box, Federal and other range/practice ammo.

If you have tried this brand PLEASE post a review.

I haven't run any New Republic products myself but I'm definitely curious now that you’ve mentioned it. Beretta’s ownership is a big plus for credibility. You’d think they wouldn’t put their name on something that’s total garbage, right? The pricing looks reasonable from what I’ve seen. That Hungarian NATO plant is an intriguing detail. Generally, military contract manufacturing suggests decent quality control but I’m not sure if the US facilities are held to the same standards or if they’re just producing budget ammo.
