Hey everyone, I thought it’d be great to share some reviews of local gun shops since we all want to find trustworthy places to buy, trade, or get our gear serviced. What makes a gun shop trustworthy to you? I’ve had both great and not-so-great experiences, so I’m curious about yours! Got a shop you’d recommend? Maybe one that has a good selection of used guns or fair transfer fees? Let’s hear about those hidden gems or the places to avoid. Share your stories and any tips for fellow hunters and shooters in our area!

Where in MS are you located?

My favorites have changed in the last five years, The owners either died, got cancer or got too old and didn't have anyone to pass the shop along to. For the last four years I have shopped at three that stand out. Stone Arms and Mobile Shooter Center are closest to me but both are in Alabama so Neith Firearms is my current go-to.

The shop I have been using lately is Neith Firearma in Lucedale. Good prices, good selection of new and used a long with a knowledgeable owner are what keeps me coming back. There are three shops in Lucedale, Triple C, Big Cedar Firearms and Neith. Each caters to different clientele and I frequent them all, Neith is what I consider the best fit for me.

Triple C has the best selection of ammo and at reasonable prices. Big Cedar is a bit of everything from tactical to practice. They also offer training and from the number of vehicles over at the school they stay pretty busy on the LEO side of the training spectrum One of the things I appreciate is they occasionally offer a ladies only CCW class.
