I started carrying after a sketchy late-night walk home a few years back. Now, my Glock 19 with a red dot is my go-to. It feels perfect for me. Kydex holsters feel solid, but I'm curious if hybrids are comfier for long days. At the range, I'm working on my draw speed after a buddy outshot me last month. I'd love to see your carry setup. What's one drill you do to stay sharp?

My EDC is weather and temperature dependent. In the summer I am almost always in shorts and flip flops with a t-shirt. My typical summer carry is a S&W J-Frame Airweight or a S&W Bodyguard 380. When the weather cools and I have more cover cloths I switch to a S&W Shield 40 or a Kimber Classic that has been round butted if I'm wearing a coat.

I’ve been using a P365 with a Kydex IWB holster. Lately, I’ve also experimented with a couple of hybrid holsters, and I have to say, they’re so much more comfortable for wearing all day especially if you’re sitting around a lot. Just keep in mind that some can feel a bit bulkier, depending on the brand. But overall, it’s nice to find something that doesn’t make you feel like you’re lugging around a rock.

I'm curious, what's your current time from draw to first shot? I'd love to know where you're at with that.
