I always have a thing for unique calibers and the Dan Wesson .327 Federal Magnum has me really curious. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a lot of info available. Does anyone know how rare their production was?
As far as I know there was only one DW chambered for the 327 Federal Magnum and it was a one of produced for John Taffin. For a while Gary Reeder was converting 32 H&R mag cylinders to 327.
I bought a Dan Wesson Pistol Pak 357 back in the 70s. It was a good shooter and a novelty at the range but I eventually found someone that wanted it more than I did. I have always wanted a Single Six in 327 Fed or a true custom Single Six chamber for 25-20.
