Started learning with a single-shot .410 behind my granddad’s barn, and by the time I reached high school, I was already reloading .30-30 cartridges with my dad. Really looking forward to learning more and sharing stories with others who appreciate firearms as much as we do around here.

Please jump in! This place is new so more participation is welcome and encouraged. Do you still have the 410? My first shotgun was an H&R Topper 20 gauge. It is a bit worse for wear after 58 years, many many moves and the Hurricane Katrina flooding but it will still drop a bushy tail.
I have toyed with the idea of a 410 and reloading brass shells. That way I could, I think, reduce the recoil a bit. I wish I would have bought one of the Lee Loaders for all the shot shells. Lee Loader is how I started reloading.
