So I finally treated myself to the 1911 I’ve always wanted, and my local shop gave me a sweet deal thanks to the sale!

I don't have any "Black Friday" buys but I'm always looking for something different. Lately I have been toying with converting, or maybe perverting, a Savage Rascal FV-SR into a takedown survival type rifle. I bought a standard Rascal for my granddaughter when she was five and one for her brother. It's a surprise for my grandson. I bought it three days before he was born and plan to wrap it in a few years for either a birthday or Christmas gift.
