Thinking about adding ramen to my prep stash. Yeah, I know it’s not the most nutrient-packed option, but hey, it’s cheap and super filling! Got a few cases tucked away, but how long do you think they really last past the expiration date? Also, anyone got tips on storing them better than just kept in the box? Do you guys rotate ramen regularly? Any cool hacks to make it more useful in a pinch? Seems like they might last longer than just the date on the package!

Just a quick bit of AI research tells me they are good for about 2-5 years from manufacture date depending on type. The brick type last longest. ChatGPT cautions they should be discarded if they have an old oil or paint order indicating the seasoning packet is rancid or if there is any moisture or mold present. The shelf life can be extended if they are vacuum sealed upon purchase and stored in a cool dry place while shielded from sun light.
