My range kit is small and field-capable and for basics only. My home kit is a different story, it has a bore brush collection, solvent options, patches in multiple sizes, a proper cleaning rod with jags and an actual cleaning mat instead of the old towel I used to use. The real maintenance happens at home and the field kit is just there to keep things running. How are you splitting your cleaning setup between the range and home?

The range kit fixes problems, the home kit pretends they never existed and makes everything feel professional again.

Same here, range kit handles emergencies while the home bench gets all the detailed cleaning and maintenance work.
