It’s been 3 years since my kitchen cabinet door started squeaking. I have WD-40 at the ready and the cabinet is right there but it still squeaks daily!

I ignored a leaky bathroom faucet for almost a year and later found out that a five-minute washer swap could have solved it.

Three years of a cabinet squeaking? At that point, you've pretty much built a relationship with the thing. A shot of WD-40 takes maybe thirty seconds...honestly, at this point that squeak is just part of the family.
