What's on your Thanksgiving table?

Happy Thanksgiving to all! This year, I'm celebrating with some of my Filipino friends, which means I get to enjoy some of their fantastic food along with the turkey(ofc). We're feasting on pork barbecue, creamy carbonara, pork siomai, mashed potatoes, a variety of vegetables, crispy calamares, and ham.

Our usually fare is turkey , ham, green veggies, mashed taters and a good batch of rolls. I spatchcocked and smoked the turkey, heated the spiral sliced ham in a crock pot. The kids made some green beans and I did a copycat of the Texas Roadhouse Crispy Brussels Sprouts.

We had a few first timers with us this year. My grandson, 8 weeks old, had his dinner processed through his Mom. She breast feeds. One of the guest said I was the only person in the world that could get her to try Brussels Sprouts. She had seconds.

Congrats on the new grandson! Those first holidays with a little one in the family always feel so special. Seems like you enjoyed a wonderful blend of comfort food, laughter and a few little wins along the way. That’s the kind of Thanksgiving I love!
