Best BCGs

If you guys had to choose between phosphate, nitride, and chrome BCGs for reliability, what would you go with? I'm in the process of building an AR15 that I plan to really put through its paces, and I’m just curious about what’s held up well for you.
 
If I were putting together a tough-as-nails AR15, I'd definitely go with a nitride BCG. It really strikes that perfect balance of being super durable, resistant to rust, and it’s easy to clean up.
 
If youre building something you plan to rely on and push to the limits, I’d definitely recommend going for chrome, assuming your budget can swing it. Nitride is a great second choice, especially if you need something for training or as a backup. As for phosphate, it still does the job, but honestly, it feels more like a 'been there, done that' option for me now.
